First Master Trainer for IDEA Debate Exchange introduces herself - registration is still open!

We are delighted to announce that Sarah T.P. Andiel will be joining us at the IDEA Debate Exchange, where she will be spearheading the trainers' track.
IDE is a weeklong exchange where debaters learn how to become better debate educators, event organisers and club runners. It is a vital way to learn best practices from each other, and improve the quality of the European debate circuits. Sarah introduces herselves in her own words:

"When I was 17 I decided to become a rhetoric trainer. No sooner said than done: I studied Rhetorics, Education, Business Administration and Speech Training at the university of Tuebingen in Germany. At the same time I started to work as a rhetoric trainer. And, as is right and proper for an ambitious student of rhetoric, I went to the local debating club Streitkultur, was President of the "Tuebinger Debatte", and competed i. a. at the EUDC Berlin in 2006. Although I discovered several other things in live which I found exiting, I stayed devoted to the world of debating until today. Now I am passing on my knowledge to people who want to speak with passion and debate with confidence."

Training experience

Since 2005, I have been working as a self-employed consultant and coach. My subjects are rhetoric, manners and customer service. Companies from all over Germany as well as various academies and educational organisations are among my customers. In my training courses I take a closer look at the field of communication in different contexts: communication in teams, with an audience, or with decision-makers. Since 2012, I give train-the-trainer classes and, for example, coach trainers at how to handle difficult situations.
