The Bosnia Centar za Kulturu Dijaloga (Bosnian Centre for the Culture of Dialogue) used the Future of Europe debate projects to tackle issues related to discrimination and building understanding of the cultural heritage between Bosnia and the EU. Their approach was novel - rather than organising a big centralised event, they hosted local academies teaching critical thinking and debate skills, and then supporting well-researched debate, in 18 cities across the countries. From Sarajevo to Bosnia citizens engaged in critical dialogues on topics ranging from discrimination, the media, and the EU.
BCIH brings an important voice in a country and region that needs critical dialogue and cooperation, and we are very proud of our member for supporting civil nonpartisan dialogue and debate.
This project was co-financed by the Europe for Citizens Project of the European Commission.
