The Bosnian organisation Centar za Kulturu Dijaloga (CCD) organised local competitions and trainings on the justice system and youth violence in four different cities in November 2013. The trainings and comeptition reached out to established debate schools and new schools and had a total of 212 high school and university students participating.

The Bosnian organisation Centar za Kulturu Dijaloga (CCD) organised a training program and competition about peer violence for high school students and their teachers across the country from December 6 until December 8, 2013. The teachers and students participated in a series of workshops to get basic knowledge about the subject and about debate.

Open Communication Serbia organised the Decemberac tournament for freshers from high school and university debating on the 21st and 22nd of December 2013. A total of 56 debaters participated and 21 experienced judges from the Open Communication's university network provided feedback and a great learning opportunitiy to the new debaters that had started at the beginning of the academic year.

The Association for for Creative Communication and Debate (ACCD) in Serbia organised a two-day tournament for elementary and secondary school students in Belgrade on the 30th of November and 1st of December 2013.  The students debated on the affirmative and opposing sides of the motion that "the state should keep young people in the country." Between each round, the teachers participated in workshops.

The Czech ADK organised a very special Christmas tournament in Vysoké Mýto for its high school Debate League participants. Unlike ADK‘s usual tournaments, which have separate English and Czech branches, this tournament provided all forty participants a chance to practice their debating in English from Friday the 13th until Sunday the 15th of December.

The eight best Romanian BP debate teams gathered in Bucharest from the 7th till the 9th of December for the grand Tournament of Champions. The tournament showcased the breadth of Romanian debate talent: participants included the curent national high school champions, and current and past national university champions, plus a few other teams with national and international finals on their records. The teams from Bucharest, Ploiesti, Cluj, Sf. Gheorghe and Iasi competed in four rounds of Round Robin and a final.

The Latvian Debate Center (DC)  organised two tournaments for high school students at Daugavpils Valsts ģimnāzija in the framework of the idebateEU project about European cooperation. The first was held for 27 students on November 7, the second for 33 students on November 21.
